This character is part of the main cast from the story I'm writing. Their owner is a friend of the main character. She's training to be a military mechainic at the same school so they share a dorm room. On her home planet they keep these intelligent fist-sized bugs as pet. This character was a one of these bugs however they got fatally ill so their owner built them a robotic body.
